Why add photos to your products?
Makes the app easier to use: your sales reps quickly identify products thanks to the associated visuals.
Improves navigation: photos enrich the interface and make product sheets more attractive and informative.
Method 1: Add a photo manually
You can add a photo directly to a specific product. Here's how:
Go to the product sheet
Go to the Products page and click the name of the product you want to add a photo to.
Add the photo
Find the Photos section at the top of the page.
Click the + below this section.
Select a file
Method 2: Import photos in bulk
To add photos to several products at once, use the Excel import and follow these steps:
Prepare your Excel file
In your product import or update file, add a column named "Image".
For each product, enter the exact name of the corresponding image file (e.g.
sidely.jpeg).
Organize your image files
Put all your images in one folder on your computer.
Make sure the file names exactly match what is entered in the Image column (upper/lower case, spaces, extensions).
Import the Excel file
From the Sidely import interface, select your Excel file.
A pop-up will open asking you to select the folder containing your images.
Confirm and import
Sidely will automatically match the image files to the corresponding products.
Once the import is complete, the photos will be applied to the products.
Best practices for product photos
Accepted formats: use only JPEG, JPG or PNG files.
Optimal size: prefer lightweight images (under 2 MB) to ensure fast loading.
Consistent file names: make sure image file names are clear and unique.
