A product appears neither in field checks nor in orders. Why?
It has not been "activated". As long as a product is neither listed in an assortment (Availability) nor open for ordering (Direct), it stays in the catalog but is invisible to the user. Check its dimensions in Defined values.
A regional SKU does not show up in stores.
It is probably placed in a high tier (such as H8/T8) that no store carries. Move it up to the base tier (H1/T1) or include it in a nested assortment.
A product shows up in the wrong department.
This is an allocation issue: check the department assigned to the product in Defined values (e.g., organic vs. conventional).
My POS materials (PLV) don't appear on the resources screen.
They must be declared via the "product type" (PLV, ILV, BRI…). Without this declaration, they don't show up during visits.
Can sales reps access the engine?
No. The multidimensional engine is reserved for administrators. Sales reps only see the product list.
How can I avoid duplicating the same regional assortment across several warehouses?
Group the warehouses concerned into a single one, or manage availability in bulk via export/import.
What is the difference with a V1 assortment?
V1 is a list of products + prices linked to the store; the multidimensional assortment is an engine that drives listing, orders and resources by dimensions (tier, retail banner, buying group). See the article "Assortments: V1 or multidimensional?".
