Manage multiple brands with assortments

Applies if you do not use the multidimensional assortment

Assortments in Sidely are a powerful way to manage different store types, store tiers, and also multiple brands. They let you organize your products according to the specific needs of retail chains and sales strategies. Here is how to set up your assortments to manage multiple brands effectively.

Assortments: a flexible solution for multiple brands

Case 1: Products from different brands in the same aisles and with the same store tier

If your products, although they belong to different brands, are in the same aisles and share the same strategy:

  1. Create a multi-brand assortment:

    • This assortment will group all the products of each brand under a single identifier linked to the tier and the retail chain.

    • Example: Monoprix - 6 (where "6" is the store tier).

  2. Benefits:

    • Centralized management for all the products in a store.

    • A consolidated view of overall performance (DN (numeric distribution), PDL, etc.) for all brands in that aisle.

Case 2: Products from different brands in separate aisles and store types

If your products belong to different brands and are spread across several aisles or store types:

  1. Create several specific assortments:

    • Each assortment will be identified by the retail chain, the tier, and the brand.

    • Example:

      • Monoprix - 6 - Grain de Sail

      • Monoprix - 6 - Météor

  2. Organizing store checks for sales reps:

    • The sales rep will see a split store check with as many assortments as needed, each linked to an aisle or a brand.

    • This will let them track precisely:

      • Numeric Distribution (DN) by aisle.

      • Share of shelf (PDL) by brand.

    • An overall view will also be available to analyze all the store's data.
