Updating your companies' geographic data in Sidely helps you optimize your field routes and improve the accuracy of your analyses. Here is how to enrich this information in bulk.
1. Select companies without a geographic location:
In the view selector, click "Companies without geographic location"
Select all companies without a geographic location
Click the checkbox at the top of the first column to select all companies on the page, then click "select the xxx rows" to select all companies without a geographic location:
2. Start the geographic enrichment
Click "Enrich geo. locations" to open the update module.
3. Choose the enrichment option
Companies without locations only: Only enriches companies that don't have GPS coordinates yet.
All selected companies: Updates or checks the geographic locations of all the chosen companies.
4. Review and confirm the automatic suggestions
Sidely automatically matches addresses with geographic databases.
If there is any doubt (confidence score < 80%), alternative suggestions are offered.
5. Enter an address manually if needed
If none of the suggestions is correct, use autocomplete to search for and manually enter the exact address.
6. Confirm the addresses and apply the changes
Select the correct address or confirm the suggested one.
Click "Update" to save the new data.
Move on to the next company with "Next" or use "Edit all" to apply the changes in bulk to the confirmed addresses.
