The ordering side of the engine is managed in Defined values → Direct. This is where a product becomes orderable (or not).
For each product, you define:
Order availability: "yes" to make it orderable, "no / nothing" to remove it — it then instantly disappears from all ordering modules.
Prices: direct price, and variations by banner / buying group (each dimension can carry its own price).
Packaging: PCB, PDCB, PMC.
Stock: states such as overstock, clearance or out-of-stock.
Status: central active / direct active, to control what is open for ordering (typically managed by the sales administration team).
This setup feeds the order guides and prices seen in the field: the sales rep can only order products enabled here, at the right price for the banner or buying group.
💡 Tip: to quickly withdraw a product from sale (out-of-stock, discontinued), switch its availability to "no" in Direct: it is immediately removed from all order guides, without affecting anything else.
⚠️ A product that is orderable but absent from store checks (or vice versa) is normal: ordering (Direct) and listing (Availability) are two separate dimensions of the engine. Check both.
