In Sidely, you can deactivate a user to free up a seat. You can then reassign the license to a new user or leave it vacant until further notice.
Deactivate a user from user management
To deactivate a user, go to the user management page:
Open user management
Select the user to deactivate
Find the user you want to deactivate in the list.
Go to Status and select Inactive, then validate with Edit
What happens when you deactivate a user
Access removed: the deactivated user can no longer access Sidely.
Seat freed up:
If your contract is active, the seat is freed up, so you can:
Add a new user at no extra cost.
Leave the seat vacant for future use.
Key points to remember
No permanent deletion: deactivating a user doesn't delete their data. It stays available and can be transferred to another user if needed.
Flexible seat management: you can reassign the freed seat to a new user whenever you need.
