How to change the map background in Sidely
Go to the map:
Open the Companies page or any other tab that displays a map.Find the map background icon:
At the top right of the map, just below the + and - (zoom) buttons, look for a small icon.
Click the icon:
You will see several sections:
User details: colors sectors, regions or departments according to where company owners are located.
Borders: clearly displays the borders of regions or departments.
Map type:
Map: hides colors and simplifies the display.
Satellite: shows the standard Google Maps details and colors.
4. See the changes:
The map updates instantly with the selected background.

1. Can I save a default map background?
No. The selected background stays active until you change it, but it cannot be saved as a default setting for all users.
2. Will other users see the background I select?
No. The map background is a personal choice and does not affect other users of the account.
3. Can I customize the map backgrounds further?
No. Only the predefined options are available.
4. Does the map background affect the data displayed?
No. The background does not change the data. It only changes how the map looks, to make it easier to read.
5. What should I do if the map background icon does not appear?
Check your browser or refresh the page. If the problem persists, contact Sidely support via the chat.
